Fell on bum on black ice cement curb December 22 .Set off chain of domino events.Compressed spine possibly cracked vertebra.Degenerative joint disease worse, pain in new places because of the fall.Couldn’t tell difference between regular fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis pain and the flu.Got flu cause immune system down because of the fall. Didn’t know pneumonia till couldn’t breath and started coughing up blood. damaged by fall.Flu became pneumonia.. Finally went to dr (Monday week ago) got BIG shot in big butt. Started oral antibiotics. Dr called to see how I was doing. Did not like what he heard told me to come in again today.
Hey ya'll, a quick update before I go fall back into bed. Went back to the Dr today at his request. Temp still 99.9. Breathing badly. Second round of antibiotics. Lungs are filling up with fluid. This time drugs includes a new prescription for lasix (I don't care if that is spelled right its phonetically right) i have staphylococcal pneumonia with strep. Dr said no anything and nothing strenuous. Found out what strenuous means now. Not much. Must rest going to the computer or the bathroom for that matter. Dr said this will probably take 6 weeks to get some of my strength back. This stinks just plain skunky! I know. He said I had never been this sick before so it is going to take a long time to get well. Period. Rest must have rest no Farmville. sorry so crazy delerious. Later ya’ll. See ya on the Internet.
