I wrote this yesterday Saturday Nov 27,2010 'This day this hour I am thankful for my church men folk three in particular, Gene Styers, Mark Plummer and Jim Midkiff. They took their Saturday morning to come out to my leaf infested yard and move my leaves away from my house They brought their own leaf blowers and rakes. They all have homes and yards of their own but they did mine for me! Our church teaches service and they complied so well. I have so much respect and appreciation for them. My Dear Husband tried to help even with his oxygen tank on his back. He didn't do very well. He made the statement he was just lazy or he could have done it. That is NOT true he can't breath to do it. So that makes me especially grateful to the men from our church coming to help. Thanks ya'll. '
And this today
The leaves have been there for a while. My oldest son and his wife came out in June and helped with the front yard getting up last years leaves. That lasted about 3 months till more were down everywhere. We have loads of trees. But I am grateful for the trees because it cuts my light bill down far below my neighbors. Our home is all-electric so that could cause a huge electric bill. But because of my trees it is not so high. I am thankful for my trees too.
